LEARN MORE ABOUT EACH RANK

Lions is the Cub Scout program for boys and girls in Kindergarten. Lion Cub Scouts learn to work together as a team. They also learn about citizenship, fitness, and safety.  Lions and Tigers always attend meetings and events with their adult partner.  Most of the adventures focus on following directions, getting along with other people, and crafts.

A boy or girl who is 7 years old or is in the first grade is a Tiger, and their Adventures are found in the Tiger Handbook. Like Lions, a Tiger always attends meetings with a parent or adult guardian. They attend meetings together, go on adventures like field trips together, and complete requirements together. Tigers learn about sports, teamwork, nature, nutrition, and outdoor adventures, and can then choose from a variety of elective adventures.
